About:
IR Code Generator is a simple tool which allows to generate IR HEX codes based on known Protocol, Device code, Sub Device code and Function (command or key) number. Generated codes were randomly tested on real equipment.
Supported protocols |
Sony (12/15/20 bit) |
NEC1 |
JVC |
Lumagen |
Pioneer |
Denon |
Sharp |
RC-5 |
Important notes:
- Some protocols (such as Sony 12, for example) has a limitation to Device code value. Please avoid big numbers to get a correct result. All Sony12, Sony15, Denon and Sharp signals should have a Device code in the range 0 to 31. All Lumagen signals should have a Device code in the range 0 to 15. All RC-5 codes should have a Device code in the range 0 to 31 and a Function number in the range of 0 to 63.
- Perhaps, it will be needed to apply Lumagen codes two or more times. Please set 'Pulse count' parameter in your system.
- Pioneer protocol distinguished from NEC1 only by frequency. All Pioneer signals should have a device number in the range 160 to 175.
- Due to special 'toggle bit' in RC-5 protocol you can generate two versions of HEX data. Just click 'Generate' button again and you'll get another data for selected numbers.
